As a young man I joined the Marine Corps right out of high school and had a beautiful daughter at the young age of 20. Although a true blessing, I was scared and didn't know what to do. One thing I did know is that someone at home was going to be relying on me to show up for her everyday. At Hammy's you are more than a customer — you are someone's daughter, son, mother, or grandfather and that mentality is what Hammy's is built on.

I began my construction career at the age of 16 building townhomes. I then went into restoration work & remodeling. After years and some great mentors I opened Hammy's out of the bed of my pick up truck. I had one goal — make a difference in the community, and that would be done by improving their lives through my work.
